I decided it was a bad idea to do my trip day by day. I am going to do it by events. Hopefully by tonight I will have my brain back into blog. It hasn’t been lately. But for Now I must run to the bank…

…Okay I didn’t go to the bank.  As I was trying to type this entry, our electricity went out and was out for hours.  I stayed home and folded laundry.

On the morning of day 2, I awoke and headed straightway into Drew bedroom to get him. I opened up the blinds to let the sun shine in. As I looked outside, I happened to notice the dumpster that was parked in our driveway was full.  As I took a closer look, I noticed that there was a ton of old carpeting in it. This carpet was not ours, so who was it?

I yelled for Daniel to come check it out. He looked out the window and we started to laugh.  It must have been a neighbor that decided to use our dumpster without asking. I was a bit annoyed that they wouldn’t ask and just come over late at night and throw there crap in our dumpster!

Just as I was expressing my feelings, the roofer guy came walking across the front lawn. I immediately swung opened up the window to profusely apologize for one of my ghettofied neighbors. As I was swinging open the window Daniel said “Oh know, what are you doing?” He thought I should just let it go- but, for everyone who knows me- I was not about to do that. I wanted him to know we were sorry about what happened-what I THOUGHT had happened.  (note the word THOUGHT, keep reading)

I open the window and called his name.  As he walking towards us, I am explaining and apologizing for all the extra crap in the dumpster. He politely lets me finish up my ramblings and then says—- (politely of course) “It’s mine. My neighbors basement flooded and I told her if she was able to get all the carpet up and out of her house I would throw it my truck and take it to work and depose of it properly.” And he smiled.

AWKWARD MOMENT!

So I say-  “Oh… It’s yours… That’s not a big deal then… Okay.. I guess I’ll let you get back to work then… ”

Oh my gosh, I was so embaressed! I closed the window after making a complete donkey of myself and looked at Daniel. He laughed at me and walked out of the room.  I followed him feeling like a complete donkey..

I was contacted by our hosting company, and was informed that the frequent database failures should soon be at an end. If your lucky enough to make it in to our site, good for you, if you can’t…well keep trying.

All right, It looks like we are back in business, I spent the better part of the day restoring the SQL Database, seems when the server went down it took the database with it,

This is why its important to back up.

I have several things to post, and will do so in a day or so, got a few thing to do that rate a little higher on my list, not that keeping you all informed isn’t important, just…well you know how “Hunny Do” lists are. Senta actually posts more than I do, but after the move we have no internet, or phone…hoping to fix that soon.
