This past Saturday Daniel and I took the kids to the Detroit Science in downtown Detroit. We purchased a 1 year membership last November. Daniel hasn’t been able to go yet, and so we went. We decided to go to  the planetarium this time (along with some shows and walking around). It was great. We learned about the universe and it’s greatness. Lucas was a bit scared at first but as soon as the instructor pointed out “Sponge Bob” in the stars he was good to go.

New Views of the Universe will take you on an amazing journey from the Detroit skyline out into the universe, with stops at the International Space Station, planets, nebulae and galaxies. Along the way you’ll experience the most spectacular discoveries and news in astronomy from the last five years, including a special section on the former planet Pluto.
