happy-birthday.jpg

My baby girl turned 10 today!!! Boy how time flies.

She had a great day today. I made cupcakes and took them up to her school so she could share with her classmates. All f the kids in class said to her that her mother makes “the best” cupcakes in the world!!

After school she got to go to swimming lessons, which she loves. She is learning how to dive and seem to be picking it up quite well. Maybe we’ll have another swimmer in the family.

We got home from swimming lessons and started her family party. I told her she could have anything in the world for dinner and I would make it for her. She chose chicken patty on a bun and tater tots :) So that’s what the family ate.

After that was present time. She opened up a card from Gma Hill that arrived in the mail today and it has $ and 800 box tops labels. She was jumping for joy- literally. Her brothers bought her some hair accessories- headbands, fancy pony tail holders, pk 100 colorful pony tail holders. Daniel and I bought her a Bratz designer design your own outfits, a pair a goggles for swimming and some cold hard cash!!

quiz.gif

I took this test and this is how I scored! Read what it says about me and then take it and see how you do

http://www.theadvocates.org/quiz.html

ACCORDING TO YOUR ANSWERS,

The political group that
agrees with you most is…

.

CONSERVATIVE

CONSERVATIVES tend to favor economic freedom, but frequently

support laws to restrict personal behavior that violates “traditional
values.” They oppose excessive government control of business,

while endorsing government action to defend morality and the

traditional family structure. Conservatives usually support a strong

military, oppose bureaucracy and high taxes, favor a free-market

economy, and endorse strong law enforcement.

The RED DOT on the Chart shows where you fit on the political map.

http://www.theadvocates.org/quiz-score/draw.php?p=1&e=9

Your PERSONAL issues Score is 10%.
Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 90%.
(Please note: Scores falling on the Centrist border are counted as Centrist.)

…………………………………………………………….

10,050,306

.

THAT’S HOW MANY TIMES THE QUIZ
HAS BEEN TAKEN SO FAR.

(Results are renewed after each submission.)

…………………………………………………………….

How People Have Scored

Centrist 33.55 %

Right (Conservative) 8.88 %

Libertarian 32.71 %

Left (Liberal) 16.97 %

Statist (Big Government) 7.89 %

…………………………………………………………….

Other Political Philosophies

Left (Liberal)

Liberals usually embrace freedom of choice in personal

matters, but tend to support significant government control of the

economy. They generally support a government-funded “safety net”
to help the disadvantaged, and advocate strict regulation

of business. Liberals tend to favor environmental regulations,

defend civil liberties and free expression, support government action

to promote equality, and tolerate diverse lifestyles.

Libertarian

Libertarians support maximum liberty in both personal and

economic matters. They advocate a much smaller government; one
that is limited to protecting individuals from coercion and violence.

Libertarians tend to embrace individual responsibility, oppose

government bureaucracy and taxes, promote private charity, tolerate

diverse lifestyles, support the free market, and defend civil liberties.

Centrist
Centrists espouse a “middle ground” regarding government control

of the economy and personal behavior. Depending on the issue,

they sometimes favor government intervention and sometimes

support individual freedom of choice. Centrists pride themselves on
keeping an open mind, tend to oppose “political extremes,” and

emphasize what they describe as “practical” solutions to problems.

Statist (Big Government)
Statists want government to have a great deal of power over the

economy and individual behavior. They frequently doubt whether

economic liberty and individual freedom are practical options in

today’s world. Statists tend to distrust the free market, support

high taxes and centralized planning of the economy, oppose

diverse lifestyles, and question the importance of civil liberties.

Perudo

perudo.jpg

This is my new favorite game. It a good game to play with friends. We just got home from playing the game this evening. I always borrow it from my chocolate covered peanut sister. I hope that I will get it for Christmas this year so I can stop having to go over to her house and borrow it.

What is this awesome game about?

Perudo is called Liars Dice, and when you play Perudo, you can enjoy that feeling of doubting the person next to you. Plus you get to guess whats happening under every players cup.

The important part is that its a game that lets you lie. You could play any way you want to, but the best way to play it is to lie a lot. Anyone can learn how to play, and anyone can win. All you have to know how to do is count. (and how to lie).

I need to get to bed. Until later….

While walking to re-install a printer on the 5th floor at work, I was stopped and had the following conversation:

Regina: Daniel, what are you doing today?
Me: I’m installing a printer on the 5th floor.
Regina: and after that?
Me: I’m not really sure…
Regina: …how long will you be installing that printer?
Me: about 30 minutes
Regina: OK, good, ’cause I was asked to find you specifically to go to Lincoln Park…
Oh great” I thought
Regina: … to be in a photoshoot
Me: Um well…I’d have to check with Max (my boss)
Regina: Ok, I’ll tell Michael (her Boss) that.

The rest of the story is roughly, Max said “Sounds fun, see you later”. Michael got me directions and I went to the Little Caesars store location in Lincoln Park a 25 minute drive. After arriving, I filled out a release form, and was whisked to a chair for make-up and hair. I was shown some previous shoots of the female customer photoshoot, so I knew what they wanted, and then the photoshoot commenced. There where roughly 30-40 shoots taken of me, staged as a customer, taking a Pizza from the hands ,of a staged, little Caesars cashier; different angles where used as well as different positions of the box. 20 minutes later it was done. So now if I find myself in a dilemma, do I leave my IT career to peruse a career in modeling? So remember to keep a watchful eye on little Caesars ads, you may see a familiar face.
