Are you for real?

By Senta | June 27, 2010

Some of you may remember that when Drew was about 6 months old, his legs would also get stuck in his crib. Daniel or I would always have to go into his room and get them unstuck.  It was a nightmare.

Well now Miss Berkley is doing the same thing, pretty much every time she sleeps. Her chunky little legs gets stuck and she tries to turn and roll over, getting her all twisted. I come into the room and have to pull them out from between the bars.  Sometimes I have to give a good pull and I always think, I hope I don’t break anything.

The story gets better—

The last 2 nights Drew has started this up again. He get’s his legs, yes both of them, totally stuck. He screams because they are hanging out the crib.  It’s crazy!  Crazy awful!

Two babies doing this to me on a daily basis.  What is my life coming too?

It’s definitely an “Are you for real?” moment!!

Not to many years ago they were recalling cribs because the bars were to far apart and kids could get their head stuck..maybe the bars now are to close together. Maybe a lawsuit would be profitable – however very time consuming, nerve racking, irritating, not to mention a big head ache, pain the the behind and a total hassle – just be glad it only takes a few minutes to get them unstuck. On the other hand – do you have bumper pads?
